VIEW Glove
One of the most important decisions a business makes about hiring new people is whether or not they will fit with the specific role requirements. While YSC assessments give a broad psychological assessment, the Glove assessment:
- Focuses solely on the role criteria.
- Candidates complete a questionnaire, tailored to the job evaluation.
- Interview by psychologist to explore capability against the criteria more deeply.
- Written report giving a clear indication of candidate fit to the specific role requirements.
VIEW Development Planning
Many worthy and costly individual assessments fail to drive effective behavioural change. YSC development planning addresses this need and supports the business in building talent at the early, crucial phases of an individual's career. The process involves:
- Collation of existing performance, assessment and 360 degree feedback data.
- A two hour session with a psychologist designed to explore track record and harness the key themes from the available data.
- Insights are translated them into a detailed, targeted and stretching development plan.
- The development plan draws on YSC's Spike Model of leadership and is therefore aimed at maximizing the individual's distinctive contribution to business performance while also fulfilling their own potential.
VIEW Developmental 360 degree Review
Receiving focused feedback is one of the most powerful developmental interventions. This process not only provides that data but also supports individuals in interpreting the messages and translating them into outstanding personal performance. The process involves:
- Tailored on-line 360 degree questionnaire.
- A one hour session with a psychologist to review of 360 data and provide further insight.
- Core themes are identified and suggestions given as to how to address them.
VIEW Coaching
Cost constraints mean that the benefits of coaching are rarely reaped by individuals until they are in relatively senior roles when habitual styles are generally well formed. VIEW Coaching is aimed at releasing potential, harnessing strengths and tackling bad habits early on in an individual's career. It involves:
- 4 sessions with a psychologist in all
- Electronic 360 degree feedback
- A two hour developmental stock take with a psychologist
- Identification of key coaching goals which are signed off by the individual's line manager
- Specific developmental guidance, challenging feedback and tracking of progression throughout the coaching programme.
- 3-way review of coaching achievements with the individual, their line manager and the YSC psychologist.
